September Shootout

With camera bag and gear in tow, I stepped out of the house for the first time since having my son, Hayden. It was a weird feeling. Not only was I 40 pounds lighter and way more steady on my feet than the last time I had taken pictures, but I was leaving the house all by myself. No child, no diaper bag, no nothing. Just me and my camera.

As I pulled up to the location, I wondered, “Can I still do this?” It had been a little over a month since I had taken any photos and I was a little nervous to get back into the swing of things. You see, Rebecca invited me to what she called a “Shoot Out”. This is where several photographers show up to a location and work with several different clients. We just switched off clients and photographers until everyone had gotten to spend time with each group. It was awesome! I had never done anything like that before. It was so fun to meet others who share in the same passion for photography that I do.

Here’s a few of the images that I got that day.
