Europe Trip: Barcelona

We concluded our trip in Spain. Everywhere you look there is great architecture, people, and music. We saw street performers, hundreds of motorcycles and bicycles, people walking their dogs, and storefronts. Barcelona is a truly relaxing and laid back city.

Oh you know, just driving down the road and passing the Carcassonne Castle...no big deal ;)

Casa Battlo. These apartments were inspired by the architects love of dragons. See how the roof look like scales and the balconies look like skulls? Neat huh?

Basilica de la Sagrada Familia. This cathedral has been under construction since 1882 and is scheduled to be completed in 2028. Gaudi (whose work you saw earlier) was the designer.
